Kevin Garnett Says Jeff Green Needs To Be More Of An A**Hole

We always count on Celtics big man Kevin Garnett for one or two memorable quotes per week.

Garnett has always been outspoken and isn’t one to be shy in critiquing or motivating teammates.

Garnett was recently speaking with Sherrod Blakely of CSNNE.com, and the subject of Celtics mild-mannered forward Jeff Green came up.

According to Pro Basketball Talk, Garnett would like to see Green be more aggressive, and oh yea, he wants him to be more of an a** hole.

“Jeff’s a really, really nice guy,” Garnett said. “Some nights, you just gotta be an a******.”
And the turning point for Green seemed to be an attempted dunk early in the fourth quarter in which he was fouled on the play.
“After the dunk he was aggressive; he was greedy Jeff,” said a visibly excited Garnett.

Garnett is hilarious, and would have been better off stating that Jeff needs to be more like him.
Nevermind.
