Greg Jennings Interested in the Miami Dolphins

Greg Jennings is preparing for free agency this off-season. The almost 30-year old wide receiver has spent his whole career in Green Bay but when news broke that he put his home up for sale, many are assuming his time is up with the Packers.

If it is, the time comes for Jennings to decide where he will want to play next. And at least one destination makes a lot of sense.

Joe Philbin is the head coach of the Miami Dolphins, but before that he was the offensive coordinator for the Packers. A job that allowed him to have a relationship with Jennings that might factor into Jennings wanting to come play in Miami. He had this to say while appearing on Dolphins’ radio/web show The Finsiders, via the Palm Beach Post.

Joe, how you doing. Remember me?”, said Jennings when asked about his former coach.
I’ve prepared my family for change,” the two-time Pro-Bowler said. “Wherever I end up, if it’s outside of Green Bay, we’re ready to be great wherever we go.”
“He was a great coach to play for,” Jennings said. “He’s one of those guys that you can have a relationship outside of football. As a player you admire a coach when he actually opens himself up like that.”

With the Dolphins having up to $40 million in cap space, looks like Jennings to Miami is certainly a possibility.
