Fisher admits to Coley Harvey of the Orlando Sentinel that he needs this weekend to rest before interviewing candidates but he’ll begin the process next week, and he expects the eventual hire to work closely with Florida State’s passers. “Most likely, yes. It will be a quarterback guy,” Fisher said. “I would say there’s a high percentage of that.”
He also admitted that his eventual hire could be a true offensive coordinator, with full play-calling duties.
Coley left Florida State for Miami in part because he wanted play-calling responsibilities.
“It’s about who we’re able to hire and who we’re able to get and what we’re able to do,” Fisher said.
“We’ll wait and see when the guys come with the interview process and where they’re at.”
