I know you think that Sproles could be a number 1.. but a lot of people are scared that he won't be able to uphold all the work.

A: I agree that the Chargers
need a second back. However, I would agree to that regardless of the back in place as the starter. I don’t think you can win a championship with a single back, I don’t think you ever could. You need someone to spell him who is at least good enough to keep the defense honest. With Sproles as the starter, I think it becomes very attractive to look at the big backs in this draft. I have the Chargers taking Anthony Dixon out of Mississippi State in the 3rd round. He is my #2 rated big back behind Gerhart and would be a great Hammer to change pace with Sproles at 6’1 235. He could also, potentially be used a fullback, so the Chargers made a pick for that spot a couple years ago with Jacob Hester. I don’t think Hester and Dixon on the same team would be a bad thing though because you could put them both on the field for goal-line situations. Would be like having a tight end lead blocking with either of them as the upback.

Q: I agree that Vikings need to improve that secondary and Arenas is an impact player kind of like Harvin except on defense. If they could get him, who would you have return?

A: On punts, have Arenas do it so that you can keep a standard defensive package on the field. On Kick Returns, I don’t see any reason not to do both. Would keep teams from kicking away from one or the other.AT1Point0https://www.blogger.com/profile/16784051747457327150noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7784064333187880735.post-55767423202723945112010-04-09T14:14:48.768-05:002010-04-09T14:14:48.768-05:00I know this is a repeat question.. But what about ...I know this is a repeat question.. But what about the Chargers drafting a running back? I know you think that Sproles could be a number 1.. but a lot of people are scared that he won't be able to uphold all the work. I mean, I hope you are right, I hope that he can because he was a Wildcat and I cheer for them but I also am thinking the Chargers may not be that sure of him. I agree that Vikings need to improve that secondary and Arenas is an impact player kind of like Harvin except on defense. If they could get him, who would you have return? lol. Also, I love your draft for the Chiefs. If they could get both of those 2, then awesome. Even one of them and it would help improve that offense quite a bit. Also, if Claussen is there, those Rams better pick him up. Just treat him like Sanchez was treated at the end of his first season. Run the ball down there throat and let his arm be the difference when he needed to. Get him comfortable. Once again, I am not relating this draft to the first one or to the rest of the predicted draft. I just want to throw out ideas and approvals. Maybe I will cause some good thought to come out of it.Nolan Trappnoreply@blogger.com
