Lil Wayne

This article is just another sign of what is wrong with the point of view of celebrities in this country.

Lil Wayne was upset that he could not have the tickets he wanted  for an NBA finals game.  Hey, I get that, I get upset when I can't get the tickets I want.

There is a difference here though.  He was upset that he could not have the tickets that were already purchased by another fan, with a security escort, and special parking.

I understand that there are probably people out there who want to take a shot at Lil Wayne, for his lyrics, or actions, who knows.  But he hasn't hidden his affiliation with certain criminal elements, with multiple arrests.

I think the question is not "Why can't get get the seats he wants", I think the question is, why does he ever get the treatment that he was obviously expecting?  Celebrities get that treatment because having celebrities at games makes games even more exciting for the fans of the sport.  It's neat to go to a game and see Spike Lee, or *insert name of famous person here*.  And it's always good business to make your product as marketable as possible.  But here's the thing, this is the finals, and the place is packed.  They DO NOT NEED LIL WAYNE TO SELL TICKETS.

This is not a racial thing, this is not a moral judgement by the team.  Flat out, Lil Wayne will not help them sell tickets, so he can buy one.
