Jason Babin Questions The Loyalty Of Eagles Fans

We’ve been talking all week about the struggles the Eagles are having.

There has been the talk of benching Michael Vick.

Players only meetings.

Coaches being fired.

The one thing that is consistent is Eagles voicing their opinions, and doing it strongly.

Eagles defensive end Jason Babin has a problem with the way Eagles fans voice those opinions.

According to Philly.com, Babin says Eagles fans have stated some “Vile” comments towards him and they are “disloyal.”

“Some of the most vile things I’ve ever heard,” Babin called the chants. “Talking about people’s wives and kids and chanting them. I just thought there’s no place for that in the NFL.”

Babin took twitter to explain to Eagles fans what exactly loyalty is.

“LOYALTY: loy·al·ty: noun, plural loy·al·ties: The state or quality of being loyal; faithfulness to commitments or obligations … There are 17 teams with the same record or worse than us. Thanks for being loyal fans…….We’ll get it right.”

“It was upsetting that a few bad apples were chanting that kind of stuff,” Babin said, adding: “I don’t even want to repeat what I heard, it was that bad. And I’ve got a pretty high threshold for adult jokes.”

Being a Philadelphia native, I can attest to every comment Babin swears he heard.

Philly fans are extremely passionate, to a fault at times.

Give the proper effort Mr. Babin and they’ll love you for life though.
