Report: LaMarcus Aldridge Wants to be Traded to the Bulls

According to a report by Ben Golliver of SB Nation via Mike Mcgraw of the Daily Herald, Portland Trailblazers power forward LaMarcus Aldrige, wants to be traded to the Chicago Bulls, where he would have an opportunity to contend.
Word is, Aldridge wants to escape from Portland’s rebuilding project and has made it known that he’d like to land in Chicago.
Deng for Aldridge won’t get it done. The Blazers want Joakim Noah in return and the Bulls don’t want to give up the superior defensive big man.
Here’s one way to get Portland’s attention: Offer Deng and Charlotte’s future No. 1 pick. The Bulls are counting on that Bobcats’ pick (acquired for Thomas, ironically), to pay off big, because it’s unprotected in 2016.
Aldridge, whose name has been bandied about in various trade rumors leading up to the NBA Draft, said in April exit interviews that he thinks it’ll be roughly two years before the current Blazers team is ready to contend.

Kevin Garnett called a cheap shot artist by Noah

Kevin Garnett will never be misunderstood as a nice guy. The NBA is full of personalities that are competitive yet not capable of the misdeeds that Garnett is capable of.

Joakim Noah is not exactly a pillar of virtue either.

His history does not reflect someone who is afraid to sneak in a low-blow from time to time

So his recent comments about Garnett’s meanstreak not only are a pot-calling-the-kettle-black scenario, they are laugh out loud funny.

Both men were called for double technical during the Bulls 100-99 victory over the Celtics on Friday.

Noah stated to ESPN that Garrnett throws”cheap shots” and “elbows.”

Nate Robinson earning his contract with the Chicago Bulls

Nate Robinson may be playing for his job every single game until January 10th for the Chicago Bulls, but it’s nothing new for the scrappy 28 year old point guard. Until the 10th of January, the Bulls can waive Robinson at no cost to them, a stipulation that was a part of the $1.1 million non-guaranteed contract he signed during the offseason. If Robinson were to leave the Bulls and be picked up elsewhere, it would make it his sixth career team and fifth in four seasons. Once the whipping boy for the New York Knicks and Boston Celtics, Robinson seems to have finally matured and deserves to retain his place on the Bulls’ roster to finally find some solidarity in his career.

In 28 games for the Chicago Bulls, Robinson has thus far matched his form last season with the Golden State Warriors, where he played 51 games. Robinson is contributing 11.2 points, 3.5 assists and 2 rebounds per contest on 43% shooting from the field. His figures are more than enough to warrant a contract, but that isn’t the issue at hand. His on-court performance wasn’t the issue either when he was without a free agent offer in 2009, despite a career best year that saw Robinson put up 17.2 points, 4.1 assist and 3.9 rebounds per contest. The issue has always, and will always be, the maturity of the native of Seattle.

Los Angeles Clippers 101, Chicago Bulls 80: Well, That Happened

Look, we knew this was a possibility. We knew full well that the Chicago Bulls were inferior to the Los Angeles Clippers. And that has less to do with the Bulls being terrible and more to do with the Clippers being really, really good.

There were a few reasons the Bulls lost. Their defense got shredded, the bench got severely outplayed, the offense was terrible and…that about covers it.

Anytime you shoot 33.8 percent from the field while allowing your opponent to shoot 49.4 percent, you're going to get destroyed. Furthermore, HoopData's wonderful box score tells us that the Bulls shot 13/31 at the rim and 5/13 from 3 to 9 feet. The Clippers, meanwhile, shot 15/20 at the rim and 11/17 from 3 to 9 feet. That's really all you need to know about last night.

However, because we're apparently masochists here, we're going to keep going.

Scottie Pippen Compares President Obama To Michael Jordan

While waiting on the results from the 2012 Presidential Election, President Re-Elect Barack Obama wasn’t doing the normal campaigning in swing states trying to sway those last bit of undecided voters, he was in the gym with Scottie Pippen. We all know what happens when Scottie get in the gym, he reverts back to the 90?s and thinks everybody is Michael Jordan. Via Probasketballtalk.com Pippen couldn’t resist the comparison:
He’s not an overly aggressive player, but he takes what the defense gives him,” said Pippen. “He’s got a smooth game. He probably used to be a little more aggressive, but obviously he doesn’t want to get hurt.”
That certainly wasn’t going to happen if the defense had anything to do about it.
“I thought the lanes opened up when Michael Jordan used to drive,” laughed Pippen. “I used to be like, wow. But when I saw the President drive, I thought they were bringing the whole motorcade through the lane it was so wide.”

New Orleans Hornets 89, Chicago Bulls 82: Get Stung

Hey, remember when the Chicago Bulls won by 29 last night on the road against a team that was supposed to be decent? And then they were at home against a team that wasn't supposed to be all that good and was missing its two best players?

Yeah…about that…
