Andrew Wiggins Says It’s Unfair to Compare Him to LeBron and Durant

All eyes were on freshman phenom Andrew Wiggins at the 2013 Big 12 Men’s Basketball Media Day that took place at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, MO yesterday.

This comes as no surprise seeing as the 18-year-old Ontario native is the number one recruit for the class of 2013. With all the hype surrounding him one has to wonder will he be able to live up to it? With comparisons to high profile players like Lebron James and Kevin Durant, Wiggins is facing an immeasurable amount of pressure and he has not even suited up for the Jayhawks yet.

Of course Kansas head coach Bill Self did his best to diffuse the situation and alleviate the some of the pressure his star player is facing via ESPN.
Well, he hasn’t asked for any of it,” Self said. “If you talk to him, he’s humble and a low key guy that deflects attention as much as anybody I’ve been around. But when you hear those things, it’s not fair. … He’s just Andrew

NFL Scout: “LeBron James would dominate the NFL.”

The question has been asked for almost a decade now, but it still remains, could the king of Akron really be dominant in the NFL.

LeBron James got the ball rolling earlier this week when he stated that “before it’s all said and done, he’d like to play in one NFL game.”

Mike Freeman of the Bleacher Report decided to ask three NFL scouts their opinion on James as
an NFL prospect.  According to Freeman, the question was simple, “How would James fare in the NFL? Not from five years ago, but now. How would he do right now?”

The answers were not shocking.

LeBron James won’t change his behavior after Kobe’s injury.

Kobe Bryant’s season-injury sent shockwaves throughout the NBA.

Fans, players, trainers, coaches and front office personnel all wondered if the extensive minutes that Lakers coach Mike D’Antoni piled onto Bryant’s body resulted in his downfall.

The nature of Bryant’s injury (torn Achilles) gives the coach with the out of saying it’s something that can happen to anybody at any time.

But there are those that say ‘ but still…’

So as the playoffs approach does that give other players pause to think about how much they are utilized?
LeBron James told ESPN on Sunday that he won’t let something like this impact how much he plays.

James even went as far as to state that he won’t even change his furious off-season routine.

The Cleveland Cavaliers pave the path for the return of the “KING”

While many experts, analyst and fans speculate whether or not their will be a reunion between the Cleveland Cavaliers and LeBron James in 2014, the Cleveland Cavaliers are paving the path to turn that speculation into reality.  Even though it is all speculation and after witnessing the whole “The Decision” fiasco we know we won’t hear James saying anything until last-minute.  Or will he have to???

The Cleveland Cavaliers’ body language has been a little different the last two years.  They seemed to be master-minding a plan to take the Eastern Conference by storm.  Intentionally drafting the perfect team to compliment a “KING”.  Drafting a team not to win so they can continue having top five draft picks, but at the same time drafting a team that will be a “Dream Team” caliber kind-of-team when finished.

One of LeBron James’ biggest reason for leaving the Cavaliers was the lack of talent on the team and an owner who wouldn’t spend the money to give him a supporting cast.  So James took his talents to South Beach and

Dan Gilbert had his feelings hurt, learned his lesson and now is doing his part to right a wrong.  Gilbert is returning royalty back to the city of Cleveland.  Making sure the fans get what they are entitled to after all these years of supporting the Cleveland Cavaliers…
